Denver Pokémon Gives Back to Kids
Bringing joy, comfort, and a little Pokémon magic to children who need it most.
Music Pour La Paix (MPLP) is excited to welcome Denver Pokémon Gives Back to Kids as an ongoing initiative under our nonprofit umbrella. The initiative was founded by a group of individuals who are interested in Pokemon and have a strive to help give back to kids and their families in Denver community who are going through hardships in Hospitals in the Rocky Mountain region. the initiative was inspired by a family’s experience with childhood hospitalization and the comfort a simple Pokémon gift brought during a difficult time. Today, that experience has grown into a mission to bring moments of joy and comfort to children facing medical challenges.
Denver Pokémon aligns naturally with MPLP’s commitment to mental wellbeing, inclusion, community connection, and compassionate support during vulnerable moments.
We believe that care can take many forms and sometimes, a small gift can create a meaningful moment of joy for a child and their family.
How It Works
MPLP is incorporating the direct-donation component of Denver Pokémon Gives Back to Kids.
Donors give → MPLP purchases Pokémon toys → Toys are distributed directly to children.
There is no merchandise or retail component. Designated donations are used to purchase and distribute Pokémon toys to children experiencing medical challenges.
